Pappy

Van Winkle

Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve 23 Year is the crown jewel of American whiskey — twenty-three years of wheated Kentucky straight bourbon, hand-selected one barrel at a time by Julian Van Winkle III. Bottled at a poised 95.6 proof to carry the weight of more than two decades in deeply charred new American oak, this is the most allocated, most collected, and arguably most legendary wheated bourbon in the world. Fig, dark caramel, leather, tobacco, espresso, and fruitcake unfold in slow, deliberate layers — all underwritten by the soft Van Winkle sweetness the family has guarded for over a century.

What They Say

The Heritage 1876 is unlike anything I've tasted. Rich, complex, with a finish that lingers like a Kentucky sunset. This is bourbon at its absolute finest.
James MitchellWhiskey Connoisseur
We've made Bourbon & Oak our house pour. Our guests consistently praise the smooth character and the depth of flavor. It elevates every cocktail we create.
Sarah ColemanBar Owner, The Oak Room
The Single Barrel Reserve delivers exceptional notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and dark cherry. A masterclass in Kentucky bourbon craftsmanship.
Robert WalkerMaster Sommelier
I came for the allocated bottles and stayed for the barrel picks. Being told plainly which bottle isn't worth the money is why I keep buying here.
Marcus BellCollector, Louisville
The Barrel Proof is the most structured pour on our back bar. It takes water beautifully, and it holds its own in a Manhattan without disappearing.
